I live on Mt. Desert Island, Maine, home of Acadia National Park and one of the most beautiful places you will ever see. You are probably familiar with Bar Harbor or "Baa Haa Baa" as the locals pronounce it...
I belong to and organize The Acadia Plein Air Group here on the Island. Plein Air is an art term for painting outdoors. We meet every Monday morning, throughout the year, at a specified location. We meet indoors when the weather is not agreeable for painting. There is a website for the group you may want to visit...the link is APAG
I also teach watercolor, belong to The Wednesday Painters - a portrait group and am a member of TEAM - Teachers and Educators of Art Materials a national organization.
In addition, I'm the Workshop Director for the Acadia Workshop Center a fabulous facility for artists to teach workshops.
